I have an ICOM 710 to SCS PTCPro (flashed to add the serial for Pactor III). Works very well. You do need a licence from SCS to upgrade to Pactor III. Cable was built by an SCS distributor. I use SailMail and WLO Radio for my HF Email providers..Kiel Radio is also a HF provider--no need for Ham Licence when you use their services..you use their licenses..no CEPT or exchange licence either.
New with SCS is the PIB Bridge, which Keil and WLO use. Very easy, just set up the dialup connection via windows, connect and POP your email into Outlook or whatever.
